Wurth Australia Partners with Heavy Vehicle Industry Australia (HVIA)

Founded in 1970, Heavy Vehicle Industry Australia (HVIA) is the leading national peak body representing the heavy vehicle industry. HVIA’s extensive membership includes over 300 corporate entities, encompassing all truck original equipment manufacturers (OEMs), 49 of the top 50 trailer manufacturers, major component suppliers, heavy vehicle dealers, and engineers. Wurth Australia’s partnership with HVIA opens the door to significant opportunities to showcase our products and services at the largest road transport event in the Southern Hemisphere. It also enables us to engage with key decision-makers through regular networking events and elevate our brand visibility within the heavy vehicle industry.

Investment & Impact

The partnership investment totals 70,000 AUD (approx. 38,000 EUR) per year, amounting to 280,000 AUD (approx. 155,000 EUR) over a four-year period.This strategic investment is expected to significantly expand our reach within the heavy vehicle and transport industry, enabling direct engagement with OEMs, trailer manufacturers, and key fleet operators—high-potential markets for our Metal and Cargo Divisions.

Industry Reach & Visibility

The Brisbane Truck Show attracted over 55,000 attendees in 2025, contributing an estimated 56 million AUD (approx. 311 million EUR) to the local economy. HVIA’s quarterly ROADBOSS magazine reaches 11,500 recipients per edition, while its monthly e-newsletter is distributed to 48,500 recipients, with an average open rate of 35–40%. HVIA also maintains a strong social media presence with over 47,000 followers.
