Let's break it down...

DOT refers to the Department of Transportation.

It is an internationally recognised and accepted American based government body which sets the standards for vehicle safety (FMVSS).

The number that follows the DOT standard, for example: DOT 3 or DOT 4, refers to the grade of Brake Fluid. Every manufacturer requires a particular grade to be used with their brake systems.

Wurth Australia offers a complete range of high quality Brake Fluid that meets and exceeds these stringent standards.

Notice:

- Brake fluid must always be changed according to the manufacturers specifications.

- DO NOT mix Wurth Australia‘s Brake Fluid Range with Automatic transmission fluids (ATF) or mineral oils.

- If contact is made with painted surfaces immediately wash off with water.

- Always ensure Brake Fluid bottles are sealed when stored.

Why are there 3 colours?

Wurth Australia’s OAT (Organic Acid Technology) Coolant Concentrate range is made up of the same high performing formula and is suitable for all engine types – the colour is just the colour!

The colour can be chosen to match the existing colour that was originally in the vehicles cooling system.

The Wurth range of coolants are interchangeable with all other coolant types and colours. Remember the partner products – flushing a cooling system at every coolant change is a fundamental process!
