What are our common goals?

Wurth Australia are committed to Australia’s 2025 National Packaging Targets.
If businesses and consumers all work together, we can achieve:

  • 100% of packaging being reusable, recyclable or compostable by 2025.
  • 70% of plastic packaging being recycled or composted by 2025.
  • 50% of average recycled content included in packaging by 2025.
  • The phase out of problematic and unnecessary single-use plastic packaging by 2025.

Sustainable Packaging Targets

Wurth Australia has defined specific targets to demonstrate our commitment to reduce the impact of our packaging on the environment. We report on these targets annually.

As a member of the APCO, Wurth Australia also support the ARL initiative (Australasian Recycling Label). Products that include the ARL label can provide you with easy to understand recycling information and as such decrease waste going to landfill.

We also encourage all customers, suppliers and contractors to reduce their environmental footprint and to identify measures to mitigate the environmental impact of their activities, products and services.

Every time you reduce, reuse or recycle, it makes a difference!
