AHK Australien, also known as the German-Australian Chamber of Industry and Commerce, operates as the official body between Germany and Australia to connect economic and governmental affairs.
By holding the official mandate from the German Federal Government to represent German economy abroad, AHK Australien is a registered not for profit organisation and works closely together with its members to connect business in the bilateral world.
The German-Australian Chamber of Industry and Commerce was founded in Sydney in 1977 and as of today has over 300 members. While its head office is located in Sydney, the Chamber also has an office in Melbourne and works closely together with similar organisations in other states to support members across various locations. While the team is able to support German companies entering the Australian market through various services, it also supports established businesses in Australia to achieve sustainable growth.
Wurth Australia originally joined as a member in 1987 and has since become a Platinum Partner.
