What is the Reinhold Wurth Workout Week?
The “Reinhold Wurth Workout Week” is an annual Wurth tradition where internal staff members travel with the company’s sales representatives for one or multiple days. The idea was developed over 30 years ago by Professor Reinhold Wurth, founder of the Wurth Group. Realising discrepancies between internal and external staff members Reinhold Wurth implemented the idea of a more team and market orientated work attitude for all employees. Accordingly, the tradition runs yearly in April during Reinhold Wurth’s birthday week. And it’s not only a Wurth Australian thing. It’s happening worldwide!
Internal staff members swap office chairs to directly meet and interact with customers.
The trust forming initiatives main target is to create awareness and understanding between internal and external staff members in regards to work challenges where both sides have to meet. Getting to know each other leverages the teamwork ambition. Colleagues realise each other as “individual colleagues” and not just as a faceless internal or rather external staff member.
The Reinhold Wurth Workout Week is a great opportunity to share ideas, difficulties and of course also problems on a cooperative and positive basis.
