New Three Year Partnership with Beyond Blue | Supporting Mental Health at Work and Beyond

14.10.2021

Dandenong South/Victoria
Wurth Australia has secured a three year partnership with Beyond Blue, Australia’s most well-known and visited mental health organisation.

In a time when mental health concerns are exacerbated by the COVID19 global pandemic, it is important that Wurth Australia continues to nurture relationships and join forces with valuable organisations like Beyond Blue. The organisation works tirelessly to deliver support services to help people in the community. Beyond Blue provides information and support to help everyone in Australia achieve their best possible mental health, whatever their age and wherever they live.

Beyond Blue’s Head of Community and Partnerships said about the recent alliance, “We saw Wurth Australia as a great opportunity for us to share the Beyond Blue platform with employees, customers and the wider community. Something we’re really excited about with the Wurth partnership is the ability to work with Sales Representatives around the country to help them reach out to people within their local area who may be struggling. Although these conversations can be difficult, they can also be life-saving.”

The partnership between Wurth Australia and Beyond Blue solidifies the company’s desire to support the mental health of its staff. Designed to educate employees on the signs to look out for, the new partnership deal opens the door to all the tools the Wurth team needs to support each other in very simple but meaningful ways. Wurth staff are also educated on how to have an empathetic conversation with small business owners. This also includes information on how to refer a person to seek professional support.

Senior Vice President of the Wurth Group, Chief Executive Officer & Managing Director of Wurth Australia, Serge Oppedisano states, “On a daily basis, people are faced with the stresses of daily life. From balancing life and work, dealing with challenging situations, past traumas and other pressures, it can take a toll on a person’s mental health. Everyone deserves the right to feel well both mentally and physically. When we cultivate a meaningful and fulfilling environment at work, employees naturally feel more connected, supported and satisfied with their lives. As a company, we value a culture where our people come first. This of course also extends to our customers. We know the importance of offering a hand, which is the exact reason why we have partnered with Beyond Blue.”

To further promote Wurth Australia’s partnership with Beyond Blue, all Wurth branded vehicles around Australia feature a Beyond Blue sticker on the rear passenger windows to show their support to the wider community.

Wurth Australia’s support of Beyond Blue is advertised on marketing material such as monthly specials, the Wurth website and via the Wurth social media channels.

Wurth is supporting staff with a range of initiatives such as an information hub on the company’s intranet and advertising on overhead screens located throughout the head office building.
