Suitable for: Cleaning diesel fuel injectors without the need for removal from the engine. Wurth HOT SET™ is a cost effective method of restoring diesel fuel injectors to a servicable condition. Improving fuel economy and power without removing the injectors. Removes all carbon deposits. HOT SET™ cleans all carbon and wax deposits from the fuel injectors, hoses & lines, filter housings, pressure relief valves, rotary fuel pumps, injector pumps and piston tops.
(Shake HOT SET™ well prior to use). Run engine up to normal operating temperature. In a clean container, mix together 500ml of HOT SET™ fluid and 500ml of diesel fuel for every 3 litres of engine capacity. Disconnect the vehicles fuel inlet and return line fittings. Connect a length of hose to the fuel inlet (after the filter if possible) and connect a second hose to the fuel return line. Submerse both hoses in the container of HOT SET™/Diesel mixture. Start and run the engine on this mixture for approximately 30 minutes (or until the mixture becomes excessively contaminated) and then switch off . Remove hose from fuel inlet only and re-connect the fuel line. Run the engine again until the fuel return line flows clear, then remove hose and reconnect line to vehicle. Replace fuel filter and then drive vehicle for at least 5km. Dosage: 500ml HOT SET™ fluid, plus 500ml of Diesel fuel for every 3 litres of engine capacity. Caution: When carrying out this process, please ensure that the container, hoses and fittings are secure and that the area is hazard free. Damage to major fuel system components may occur if the mixture supply is interrupted during the flushing process. We recommend that fuel filters be replaced after using this product.
